Ok, Im driving my truck
Wow! you guy's were right, I've finally started using my truck for its intended purpose. a Hauler. Problem was I was afraid to scratch it up. She still looks pretty going down the street and I get the cool truck wave at least a couple time a day. Still got some interior work to do but it sure is fun to drive. thanks for all the support. Pops,
I'm very glad to hear that you are driving it, and even more so, enjoying it. The smiles and waves are fantastic. You also end up in some neat conversations at the gas pump or wherever you stop.
My truck is a mulit-colored morphodite that is along way from being something to look at but I get tons of smiles and waves and more than my share of attention from the little tikes as 55 f350 mentioned.
Here's a big thumbs up to you and a round of frosty beverages in your honor!!

yep....
used my freshly redone econoline pickup 3 summers ago as our main truck when we built our new house, lotta heavy loads, ceramic tiles, hardwood flooring, cement blocks lumber, furniture, appliances, and many many of these heavy loads hauled outta the city... the truck performed flawlessly as did the panel truck which also was used when covered loads needed to be hauled. (this was of coarse before the interior was installed) figgured it was cheaper than buying, safety checking insuring & licenceing another truck, most it'd cost is a roll of sandpaper some masking tape & a gallon of paint, ended up all's i ended up doin' when all was said & done was some touch up paint on a fine brush, meguires compound power cleaner followed by swirl free polish n' a coat o wax looked like new.
