i have an 89 buick lesabre n the other day i had summin hooked into the cigerette lighter and 2 wires on the device crossed shortin out the the cigerette lighter so it no longer works and there is nothin on the radio, all i get is interference n no display shows up nor kan i change the channels or nothin. im a lil confused as to if this would b a fuse problem or not. the only 2 things affected by this that im aware of are the 1) cigerette lighter not havein any power and 2) no radio frequencies. thank you for ur help cus i have no idea wat this could b cus ive never heard of this happenin before.

Check your fuses. jd

check you fuses as jimdandy said, most radios have 2 hot wires, 1 switched lead & 1 constant hot. one of them is probably on the same circuit as the lighter.
