The local junkyards up here want $400 for a "rough" flareside bed with no tailgate.
For $450 I bought a wrecked 92 6cyl 4-speed manual Flareside and put the bed on my 94 4x Sport with a 4.9 and 5-speed.
I've only seen 3 around where I live....ones the exact same color as the wrecked one I got, ones black, and ones a dark pink extended cab....
Mines the only one with F-150 still on the fenders and custom spray painted pin stripes, to blend the gray on the bottom of the bed and the 3 gray stripes on the cab. Lucky me they were the same color red.
The roll pan is for a 97-up ford that I cut to fit and fiberglassed in, but tore it off backing into a snowbank, so it DID look good...

I saw that one. the Lightening was faster stock, but I didn't get to see the show where they fixed both the SS and Lightening up and did the dyno and track stuff again.

Still got that good lookin truck Jason?Take care of her.....they probly reinforced certain panels to help woth the flex so it wouldn't tear up certain panels. The 5.8's are a lil more rare around here than the 300-6's.....Mine's a 302 AODE 2wd single cab. It's got GT40 heads with ported exhaust chambers, gasket matched intakes, 1.7 rr's 3.55 rear with a posi.I'd love to get an L motor and drop it in my truck and make a Flairside lightnings....here's some pics when i got it and some recent pics.
Oh yea and mine was a Mark 3 conversion as well...leather interior bucket seats.....Power everything.

Here is my 1993 Flareside 302/e4OD automatic. Soon to be 351w. I'm kinda leaning towards turning it into a lightning performance wise. Just a little at a time.
sorry for poor graphics, took it with my cell phone one day as I was leaving work. Its also gonna get repainted before winter. I'm thinking a darker shade of blue. Gonna get a visor for it first.

I just sold my 93 Flareside 4x4 last fall. It was white with gray trim on the bottom and gray interior. It was loaded with all power options, and it had a 5.0 and a 5 spd. I bought it with only 74,000 on it for $6k, and sold it a year and a half later for $4,750 with still only 92,000 on it. It was a nice truck, but a little too light duty for me. I replace it with an F250.
