An just think all the money these guys got after they were fired that whats sickening. millionoff dollars. Heck I think they new there days were numbered so they got away with all that money..
All i can say is Tom Osborne isnt govenor thank goodness. Hes athletic director. Isnt that unque. Tom is right where he belongs back at Nebraska. What legend. Did you guys know his teams were in 7 national championship games. an won three. Wow thats impressive. That was an era for the ages. With Bo I think well be back in the fight again. I think that guy cant stand to lose. I really like that guy.
I just hope that the reigns will be free from Bo and he will be able to do what he wants with the team. He knows the tradition of Nebraska football, but also knows what is needed to be done in order to compete in today's CFB. The one thing and I mean ONE THING, that Bill C had in mind was a deverse offense, is needed in CFB, BUT, he couldn't call plays worth a damn and go with what was working in a particular game. A running and passing game is needed in CFB in order to be in the "elite" group of teams. A one dimensional offense can compete, but most likely will not be at the top, because a great defense can demolish those kinds of teams. Of course, that's the most difficult challenge for a coach.....to have both a great offense and defense. I think Bo will do just fine and those pics of Bill C just makes me sick on what happened to NE Football the past few years.
I totally agree with that Patrick. NU could never go back to being an option team, and being as competitive as they used to be. Probably one of the best things Bo did was to keep Shawn Watson, who seems to be an excellent offensive coordinator. We'll actually be able to see that, now that Callahan won't be calling the plays!
