Either is a good choice..I have used both, currently using RP in everything, just because I can get it locally off the shelf, and I can't get RL unless I order it.
My old Dodge (93 V10) I switched to Red Line in everything, and it was fine, the current F350, 460 has RP in everything but the trans..new trans, going to run it for about 10,000 first, and it is fine also..I did notice more change (smoother, better mileage by about 1/2 mpg when I did the t-case and diffs)when I swapped to RP in the Ford, but I can't say it was just because of the RP being better than Red Line, just way better than the stuff that was in it when I got the truck. (previous owner was all Pennzoil, all the time)
Long story short, both are a good choice, you can't go wrong on this one either way.
