Question Auto Meter sending units

On my 2000 Expedition 5.4L 4x4 Im going to install Auto Meter Guages,
Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Voltmeter, and Trans Temp. Does anyone know where to install the sending units on the engine for the Oil Pressure, Water temp? Also I need to install the Trans sending unit is there a port for this on the trans?
Thanks ~Gage~

If you find a port for the oil, I'd like to know too. I haven't found a spare one yet and I don't think Teeing the stock oil pressure switch will fit very well.

For the trans temp you have two options, From factorytech's web page

Where can I install my fluid temperature gauge?

On the passenger side of the transmission, there is a test pressure port with a pipe plug in it, you can remove this pipe plug and install your temperature or pressure sending unit here. Most gauges are already the correct size or come with adapters to fit it.
or autometer has a temperature manifold that you cut the cooler line and clamp it inline.

I think there are two ports in the intake manifold water cross over that you can tap for the water temperature.

Look, see these two tow hooks? They look like tusks. And what kind of animal has tusks?

there's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I like to think that I walk that line every day of my life.

Thanks for the info, on my 1988 Cougar XR7 5.0 I did install a T-fitting for the oil pressure sending unit and it worked really good .

It worked on my 89 F150, but I used a mechanical gauge. I have an electric now, that sender is about the dia. of a coke can and 3/4s as long. It's a big piece and I'd rather give it it's own port if possible.

There is a port on the back side of one of the cylinder heads that gets pressurized oil. No much room to work with though. Really are better off trying to find a way to tap into the oil filter fitting or getting a remote mount setup off of a Gen. II Lightning.
