Tags lights on rear are not hooked up

As title states, tag lights are not hooked up, this red flagged my state inspection.

Never noticed it before.

So I need to wire them in, where is an appropriate place to tap into the truck?

Switched 12 volt on the rear running lights OK?

Thanks,

Blair

what vehicle, and where are they??
if you are talking about step bumper tag lights, there should be a light behind the bumper on the driver side with a power wire going to it. this is the normal place for the tag light when delivered from the factory without a step bumper.

Look for a darkbrown wire. That's the running light wire, and will work.
