A Memo To Ford : MORE V10 F450/F550s For PHILLY ,PA. DISTRICT!!!

Thanks. And a comprehensive list of V10-powered F-450/F-550 trucks in the mentioned area would be nice to see in my snail mail box. Only two trucks, within a 50 mile radius found, so far. MORE, please.

Well, I found two. Hey, It's a start. One is a Oxford White F-550 chassis cab with the V10/Torqshift/4.88:1 limited-slip combo. it's a 165" wb truck. The other is also a F-550, but a 141"wb chassis fitted with a dump body. It's a white cab, with a red dump body. Don't know if it has standard 4.88s, or optional 5.38s and/or the optional limited-slip rear axle, but I'm guessing it has 4.88s. Both of these trucks are 4x4 models. I also found a Dark Toreador Red F-450 in the Pittsburgh, PA. area. I think the ad said it had a 6-speed and 5.38:1 gearing. Still, it would be nice to find more F-450/F-550 chassis cabs with V10s in them, on dealers' lots.

they need to get more V-10's out in the Pacific NW, as well!! Took a 250 mile wide search to find mine last week.

Consider the V-10 a special order, Ford Is and allways was pushing the Diesel's (lots more profit)
Order it , get what you want . DONE

I had to order my van & would do it again if they had a V10 option. It arrived early too as I recall.

I'm looking for a new (used truck) theres probably 250 SD's forssale in 100 miles of me, 5 of those are v10's

Are they really that hard to find? I bought mine at an equipment auction a few weeks back, and there were 3 F450 V10s like mine, as well as a handfull of 350 V10 crew cabs up for grabs. I see a few of them online somewhat regularly around here. Or are you guys talking about new trucks only?

If your waiting to buy one untill Ford Stocks more, You will never get one.
Most Dealers have no clue And use the Ford mix in the order guide .
The Gas/Diesel ratio mix took YEARS to get here and will not go back.
