Does the manual 7.3 have smaller driveshafts than the autos?

Good question. I assume you are asking about the length of the driveshaft as opposed to the diameter.

I didn't crawl under the truck and measure (snow) but parked beside my parents crew cab they look to be the same diameter. Length I couldn't tell ya, cc 6'bed vs excab 8'
