What I am starting with

This is what I am starting with. She sat in the trees for 4 years when I bought it from a coworker for $200. All I did was put a new battery and some fresh gas in and I have been drivin it everyday since November. Who knows what it may turn out like in a few years. Interior is first on the list this summer. Other things I have done are:

New wheel cylinders and shoes
New master cylinder and brake hoses
New wheel bearings and radius arm bushings
New fuel pump and gas tank sending unit.
New cab mounts in a few weeks.

Suggestion, make sure the cab is solid before spending to much on interior stuff unless it is just something simple like seat covers etc. If you have to do a bunch of welding etc on the interior, it is better to get that done first. Nice looking truck. You might try to pick up a grill at the lincoln swap meet and that would give it a better look without too much expense.

The guy that is doing the cab mounts came out and checked it for me. It is nothing he is worried about dealing with. Charging me $300 to make new cab mounts for it. At that time I am going to do some work on the floors. When is the swap meet in Lincoln?

Hey Darin, I think that will be a great project truck! I need to get started with mine also. I may have to head for Lincoln, to do a little part searching that weekend myself! I wish the box on my 67 was as straight as yours!
