New High Boy- God help me

Vin says '76, grill says other wise. It does have a divorced transfer case, low pinion front diff. All that plus a snow plow AND hydraulic dump box!
Oh, did I mention headers? Only one side completely rotted out!
The not so good? The electrical under the hood is a rats nest, literally.
Apparently a packrat had moved in a chewed it up pretty bad. we'll see how it goes....

@Dasher400 real nice start to a Highboy work horse BTW those are my favorite grille inserts .. A plow brace for a highboy is hard to find these days

These work great for a highboy plow truck

My multi colored frankentruck, daily driver. Working on bodywork now, but just ran into a problem with the steering.

Here is my highboy work in progress. It has 33" tires with a 360, headers. Dana 60 rear, 44 front & 4 speed transmission. There is quite a bit of body rust but it appears to be isolated to a few areas in the wheel wells and cab corners. There is a parasitic battery drain that I haven't been able to chase down yet so I have to unhook the battery when it is parked for more than a day.

My hope is to tear it down in a few years (after the wife finishes school and I can build a garage). For now I just am trying to keep it on the road!
