I think that if its at a resonable cost compared to Line X or Rhino Lining I think that it will be a popular option. I wonder why they are only doing it at KTP??

I have always wondered why all the manufacturer have not done this. A bed liner is the first mod of many trucks (including ours) and that money would just be back to them instead of a aftermarket company. It would have to be on par or better than line-X for it to be a hit though IMO.

when I bought my truck on A plan, I told the dealer I would not buy the trck unless it came with a free sprayed in bed liner. dealers will bend over backwards to make a sale as long as they can turn a small profit

haha damn you a-plan'ers, you guys always come into a deal with boxing gloves on so you can beat us up.
Yeah if they did it to color match i'd like that. I still think most people will just have it done at an after market company. Why would you pay for a spray in bed liner with a 3yr/36k warranty that is roughtly the same cost as a line-x with lifetime warranty.
The question is what will the option cost? And how much cheaper will that option be compared to the aftermarket equivalent? Will the aftermarket drop the price and the lifetime warranty to compete? Hmmmm?

You can bet your sweet bippie it will be higher than the aftermarket. All Ford options are higher than equivalent aftermarket. They go after the buyer who is willing to pay more to get Ford warranty, convenience of one stop shopping, and people who buy off the lot whatever the dealership orders.
It might hurt AM sales a little. Although Ford has offered their drop-in liner for years and the AM survived just fine.
I think that the drop in liner was more of a dealer installed option because, the old dealer I used to work at used to install the drop in liners in detail before they went on the lot, and the current dealer I work at doesn't put them in.
