So far, only four people, me included, have voted on a march meet. We have over sixty members, and it would be nice to get more than four people together!! Now, I realize that the guys who live well outside of Omaha/Lincoln area don't want to drive several hours for a meet. But it would be nice to hear from some of you guys around Omaha/Lincoln!!! All we need is one G2G to get things rolling!
I'm open to anything, in the evening or on a weekend. It would be nice if we could have a venue that would include everyone. But maybe we could start organizing a summer meet out along I-80. ???
Hey Doug. I was thinking of something either on a saturday or sunday. Somewhere we any of us could go, like a buffalo wild wings place, or something like that. I'd prefer to stay away from, say, a bar, since I know some of our members are under age, and I don't want to exclude anyone. Somewhere between Omaha/ Lincoln, or even somewhere like Wahoo, would work for me. Ideas??
My apologies for not casting a vote yet but I work every saturday so it would be one of those things where you name the day and I will see if I can show up. If I can find something more workable tonight I will throw in a vote.

I'm a little far away too, up in the Ainsworth area. I'm in northeast NE quite often though if anything is ever happening a little closer to home.
It doesnt sound bad I dont think to get everyone we can together then maybe towards summertime get something going more towards the middle of the state to try and tie all in.

I think the NE chapter should have a meet and greet at the Lincoln swap meet with a tent, heaters and free food for all those FTE'ers that come from other states. LOL
Hey Pat - I'm just kind of waiting to see what you all decide. I really want to come down for a meet, so it won't matter to me if it's in Omaha, Lincoln or some other place around there, it's all about the same to me.
Cool, thanks Rob. I think it'd be great if you were there! I'm thinking somewhere, south of Omaha, or maybe out to Wahoo, so we can get the Omaha/Lincoln guys, and some of the guys out a little farther west.
I know it's been mentioned......but when is the Lincoln swap meet? That may be a good idea to try and do something there.......heck I might even venture out that way for that!!!
