Smile Green interior on 1978 f-150?

Hey guys!
I just bought my first vintage ford truck. It is a 1978 explorer/ranger f-150 automatic 302. it has 56,000 odd miles on it. (and no it hasn't rolled over ) anyway the entire interior is green, the seat is vinal and cloth, I was wondering if a green interior was rare? Thanks for your replies!

I got the green interior too in my 78 F-100.light green vinyl floor, dark green dash, 2 tone seats and door panals.) I reckon it was obviously rare because from the standpoint of most companys it was never made. By this I mean I cant find a single company to sell green dash pads, seats, floorin, door panals..ext... I dont know why this is because in my opinion its the best lookin stock interior scheme i've seen in a F-100.

green was the color of the 70s. lots were made, few survive. my 76 4x4 is also a green Ranger.(although the interior is all gone or destroyed.)

My truck was originally green and white,So the interior is Green, just found 2 green sun visors to replace the originals on e-bay, I'm going to be getting new carpet soon, and the only people I could find it from is bronco graveyard. Seems they are the only ones who sell green interior parts.

If you require Green or any other colour SunVisors or Door pads as well as Dash pads Krylon makes Vinyl Paint that you can buy in the automotive stores Some only carry the white, gray and black but most paint stores will carry all the colours of the rainbow if they are not sure what paint you are talking about tell them it's the paint for painting the plastic cheapy lawn chairs that should direct them to the right paint.

I've used it on my Door pads and centre console as well as soft Vinyl surfaces like my Sun Visors it requires that you just clean and paint *Do Not Use a Primer* as the Krylon paint bonds directly to the Plastic or Vinyl.

BTW, the carpet I bought from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard is the ACC carpet but it was almost $200 cheaper to buy it through Bronco Graveyard.

Cheers, Rick.
