F-150 5.4l V8 Flex Fuel... Horsepower?
I have the truck listed in the subject, and can't find any reliable info on its HP. Some say the 5.4l v8 is 300horse, but when I use the Ford VIN decoder, it says it's 154?!?! Can anyone help with this?

no, its rated the same as a gas 5.4 (300 hp and 365 ft lbs)

I do think however that the Flex Fuel does not produce as much HP as gas.

I've been running a 50/50 mix of E85 and Gas (85 Octane) and still have a cruising range of 533 miles (35.7 gallon tank) doing so, while it costs me around $20.00 a tank less. Can't comment about a HP drop, as I don't have a dyno. I feel no difference though.

P.S. I'm in Colorado, so we can run 85 octane without knocking due to the altitude.
