We will be buying a 2008 SRW F-350, 6.4 in the REAL near future, looking at all the options, which rear ratio do you suggest, short or long box? We will have a 12,000lb fifth wheel to tow but mainly a daily driver.

Depends if 12k is dry or fully loaded. my dry weight is 10,500 but fully loaded and stuff in the back of the truck and family ends up being 16,650# over my truck dry weight. Ended up total 25,350# at the scales. Be sure of your weight to determine your gearing.
