i'd actually be interested in SEEING a 5 ton wheel brake setup. its harder than hell to find 5 ton parts in or around ohio (cept for boyce...ouch, my wallet). i was about ready to get rid of my 5 tons cuz they need rebuilt AND i had no clue you could even do wheel brakes on one...now im havin second thoughts. would these wheel brakes be able to fit inside a 20" wheel?

Side Project

I am working on a side project that is a 89 Dodge pick up with a Cummings Diesel. I have put 5 ton Rockwells underneath and am trying to put brakes on. I would really like to be able to contact the Gentleman that stated he had information on purchasing and putting on disc brakes.

As far as keeping the Rockwell drums on the truck, I am not sure how you would be able to do so with the wheel cylinder being the size of a beer can. Not sure where you would find a master cylinder to pump that much fluid.

If anyone has information to help, please contact me. I will very much appreciate the assistance.

the size of the wheel cylinder is not that important if the brakes are properly adjusted, because it is full of fluid. therefore, to make the brakes work will not require that much fluid.
if anything you may just need to upgrade to a larger piston master cylinder.
