Question A-pillar gauges?

Has anyone here run across A-pillar gauges to fit our trucks? I have looked high and low. I'd settle for something "universal" that I could make work, but I need a 2 gauge pod... Any ideas?

no one makes one, but some of the universals will work, and I heard something about a jeep one working. I had a thread covering this before in here. A search should turn up a thread or 2...

I gave you the rundown in my 1st post. The search just gives you more results of people saying "no one makes one"

found my way to chasetruck's gallery pics. I had thought of going that route too, but I just can't see all that work for a couple of gauges. I did find some @ jcw that are universal enuff to make work. Think I'll try that way first. If it doesn't turn out, I'll do something different. Chase, sorry. Didn't mean to sound like an a$$.

I wasn't telling you do build what I did. I actually had forgotten I posted that in my thread. I just figured the Jeep version or whatever worked would be listed in my thread as I seem to remember someone mentioning something like that.

No offense taken on my little gauge pod. I understand not everybody wanting to go through all the work for what I did. I'm overly anal about my trucks and quality of fabrication and parts on them though. I did the work on that thing and i'm still not happy with it. It may get re-done when the cummins goes in the ford, but for now it's sitting on the dash in the Dodge and still looks better than a universal POS to me.

someone wade a dash-top pod that wasnt that bad looking that worked on our trucks, or you could get the headliner with speakers in it, it has a place above the visor for guages and a spot for a radio too.

just a thought. they guy that makes and markets an A-pillar pod for our trucks will do well I think. 67-79 is a few trucks...

whd507, I've seen the headliner before, but I don't think they make one for a crewcab...?(didn't mention that earlier)
Not sure it's the way I want to go anyway. The dash pod idea intrigues me a little. I might look into that. I read recently someone here had glassed his whole dash pad to match the rest of the truck, and from what I saw, it looked pretty good. I'm just leary of doing that on something that'll be a daily driver. Looked to me like his truck was a show stopper, and I don't think I need quite that much.

Here's the overhead console for our trucks that J. C. Whitney sells. Gauges might work with a little fabrication. If not, it would be good for storage. I have a fuel tank behind my seat so the extra storage space would work for me.
