new tires

i'm looking to put new tires on my 2000 f150 4x4. I currently have 255/70 16's. I would like to go bigger (265/75 or 285/75), but i'm not sure if they will fit. Also, will they affect my speedo/computer/antilock brakes? I'm also trying to pick an all terrain tire, any suggestions? Thanks

easy,, go to goodyear,, get the new ATS tire. best tire. handles well in corners cuz the rubber is so thick (twice as much as other reg truck tires) rides smooth and will never get u stuck, even in two wheel drive. spend the extra 60 bucks for roadharzard and balancing.u will be happy. i know treads... this one is the best. but it wil cost u. on my 17" rims they cost 285 bucks apiece.. so sell ur tires or trad them in. just ride the best.. suck it up.. haha...

I'm stuck with 265's until they wear out because the dealership put them on for me. I was told 285/75/16's will fit fineby a local tire dealership.
