The crew part is 6 or 8" longer. I'm not sure about any other length measurements.

Hmmmm if the cab area is 6-8" longer and it's still a 6.50 bed...the overall length and wheel base would have to be loooonger and Too long for my needs.

Does the 09 S-Crew >6.50 bed now have a over all longer length and wheelbase than the prior years or did they just make the rear doors shorter?
07 below...I may buy next week.
However, the 09 S-Crew 6.50 bed does look a tad bit more ballanced then the white 07.

For looks - better with the 5.5' box.

For everything else the 6.5' box is better. Try pulling/manuevering a 5th wheel with the short box - that extra foot makes a big difference. It's a bit harder to manuever as the truck is longer, but it is a more capable *truck* - that's the whole point IMO.

I don't have any problems maneuvering my F350 crew cab short box in tight spaces, its probably pretty close in length to the 09's I'd imagine, wish I had the long box though so I could haul more stuff out back.

I saw the 6.5 bed Screw at the Phila. car show, it is one long truck. I like the 5.5 bed better in the Screw model.
