F100 Swap meets

Are there any swap meets near Memphis, Tn? Maybe some salvage yards with 56 F100 parts?

I'm about 350 miles from Louisville, Been working a ton of overtime of late. Might be a while before I can get away. Been keeping a eye on ebay but would like to find a swap meet or older salvage yard around Memphis, Tn or Hernando, Ms. I will check out the dates for Louisville.

i do not think you will find anything without rust here in the south. i am into a 20 year one truck build .i have a lot of parts but have yet to ride in a effie. the knoxsville big show[supernat'l] has been my best source for dreams,,parts and contacts. come early and stay late.bring all the money you can get your hands on. happy hunting and do not ever give up.

Hey man, they're right, the Supernats is the BEST F100 swap meet in the south!!! The Louisville swap meet is good, but has alot of other stuff. I build all kinds of rods so that's why I go to that one. The Supernats is great, and if youre plannin on goin this is the year to go, since next year it probably wont be worth goin to anymore. Theyve sold it and it will no longer be a F100 show, but an all Ford show.

What kind of parts are you looking for? You might want to post a list, there are some great guys with leftovers on here and are willing to share. If you havent already done it, you might want to make lists anyway. For example you might want to make a short term list of things to do, and a long term list, you might want to make a list of parts you need right now, and long term parts list?

I hope this helps!!! Hey man I forgot to tell ya WELCOME!! you've stumbled across the best F100 site on the web!! I like to call it the Henry Ford Clinic!!

If you are looking for and or need parts visit the F-100 Nats in Knoxville ,Tn. mid May .If you looked there at the show and did not find it you did not look hard enough .I will be there in the swap meet area under a red ez up on the edge near the food vendors with some spare parts and also trying to get the heater boots out in the public eye .Will have both types w/ me .Please stop by and say hi . 3golf pm and tell me what you need to make some progress or a positive step forward. Is your 56 a SW or BWindow cab? I have a potential parts source near Paris, TN. Later

Donald, At this time my 56 is every where but the driveway. One of the first things I need is a chassis. The chassis which came with my was a 77 chevy blazer 4x4 I would like to find a 50 to 56 F100 chassis . I did find a good set of fenders and a bed.At this time I am working 12,s during the week and on call on the weekends. Maybe later when things slowdown I plan to make some road trips. Your potential parts source near Paris, TN. I would love to check it out.

3golfjack-

Welcome. You will need to look for a 53-56 frame only, the earlier ones are different.
