New Windsor, old GT40

I'm buying a set of 70s GT40 heads. How well will the match up to my 89 351 EFI block? I know of course I'd have to get injector holes bored.

I didn't think the GT40 heads existed before the '90's, and if this is what you are getting they will fit just fine. If these are off a 5.0 then the bolt holes will have to be drilled out to 1/2". Post the casting numbers if you have them.

The injectors go in the intake, not the heads.

they are a pretty decent choice. probably about 3rd best choice behind GT40P and GT40 heads as far as factory iron go.

has larger valves (1.84 intake) and larger ports than 302 and later 351 heads and slightly smaller chamber, 60 or 64 cc if not mistaken.

a little port work (especially on exhaust side) and a good 3 angle valve job and will be pretty decent heads for a street engine.

the injector holes are in the manifold, not the heads. unless you mean for the smog pump.

I have some documentation that lists the 351w's at 60cc. I agree, they are pretty decent heads.
