Hello i have a 75 ford f150 2 wheel drive with the 390 i am trying to put a 3 inch body lift on it and it is giving me trobles with the steering it all went on but when i was done the gear box and the cupler going to the steering wheel did not line up and the gear box is closer to the cab so i am trying to see if there is anything i can do to move or put something there to make it work

With body lifts the steering collum and shaft goes up with the cab causing it to pull from the steering box which is tied to the frame. If you ordered a body lift from a well known distributor they will also supply an "extension" or coupling to make up for this difference. I ordered my body lift from Performance Excessories for my '92 and it was supplied with the kit. You may also want to peak at other trucks of this era that have a body lift to see what was utillized. Good luck!
