Changed the herd around today...

Sorry I havent been around for a while, Work's had me on the road alot and keeping this house going has been... well lets say fun. Just wanted to update yall. We traded in the 06 GT today... On a 08 Focus, the commute has finally started to put a hurtin on us. I do still have my 99, so I'm not out of stangs yet, but It is still an all Ford house!! I actually like the little car, it's peppy, fun to drive and well equipped. Well thats enough for now.

Here are some quick picks I snapped with the phone earlier. and pardon for the gallery still being under construction...

Looks like a nice ride! Is that SYNC system as cool as it looks on the commercials?

The Sync is awesome, once I got the bluetooth sorted out, had to update my iPhone. It works flawlessly now, as well with the iPod side. There is no voice training required, the damn thing is really smart, almost scary smart...lol (Terminator anyone?) It also has the sirius pre installed. I think the only major options it's missing is the heated seats and the audiophile system. it even has heated mirrors. As far as the gas, we expect to get around 30 mpg, which will be a big help driving 200 miles a day. The little thing will take a corner thanks to the 16's on it and it is quite peppy. It is night and day to the previous gen Focus. We'll see how it does on the maiden voyage Monday. It was real nice to see 460 miles to empty on the dash when we cranked it up the first time after they filled it. It's economy, but cool economy, and a damn sight better than the used civic we went up to look at!!

That sounds great... just like they make it look on the commercials. Very cool. Enjoy the new ride!
