IMO doing not so good look really bad!!
BTW for the rubber floor truck you can buy new carpet for under $200 or just get some nice floor mats to make your wife happy.

Any truth to that?

the good thing about a california vehical is NO RUST. the paint wouldent bother me to much if your able to look at it in person, take a good look at the frame and make sure its not bent, check the back cab corners where the top of the box box meets the cab, if theres dents there run dont want away. check and make sure all the panels are properly aligned. take it for a test drive and run a car fax report on it. even if it was in a minor fender bender that dosent mean theres anything wrong with it. id rather buy a truck from cali that had been in a fender bender than buy a truck from michigain that has never even gotten bumped by an shopping cart

884x4broncoII- this truck is in the SF bay area, so rust is one of my biggest concerns. The other truck I'm looking at is an ID truck so rust is no issue. I saw the CARFAX on the ID truck (option #1) and it's clean. I'm debating spending the $ to CARFAX the CA truck, they only show 6 records which is quite a low number. Still split down the middle on this one, not sure which way I want to go as of yet. The CA truck would basically be a sight unseen purchase for me, but I've drove the ID truck already.

Well I spent the $ and ran the CARFAX on the CA truck- came back clean and as a 1 owner truck registered in Nevada. What's weird is the guy who owns it now lives in CA and has had it for a few years (?) Rust shouldn't be an issue since it's lived mostly in Nevada, but I'm curious why nothing shows up as it being registered in CA...
