I want to get the MBRP duel exhaust system. Everyone of the vendors I have checked with is getting $300 for shipping over the $750 for the cost of the kit. Is there an outlet up here in AK that I can go to and buy the kit?
What have you guys done? Certainly you guys are not paying $900-$1000 for an exhaust kit.

I've run into the same problem myself. I know of a rv transport company that occasionally makes their way up here. I've considered giving them a call and asking them how much they would charge me to bring up a kit. I could have it delivered to their Seattle area office and then when they head up here they could bring it along.
Also maybe a company like Lynden or someone could bring it up cheaper than USPS, UPS or Fed-X.
It does suck that you can't get a kit for the same price as everyone else. All the BS about delivery to the CONTIENTAL US.....last time I looked Alaska was on the North American Contient, but who knows maybe we're an island like Australia???

Got it installed too;-) It took me about 6 hours. I'm slow I guess.

Got it installed now it sounds great to me. It doesn't sound much different at idle or cruising on the highway. BUT when you stand on the throttle it comes to life.
