starting and accelator problem
Hi. When its cold out sometimes when I step on the throttle it doesn't go down. It does go down when I stomp on it hard though, then its fine after that. It has happened to me twice this year and a few times last winter. This year both times were just after starting it in the morning. Last winter it happened in the morning and when I tried to go at a stop sign. Also last winter I had a few problems starting the truck in the morning. Has this happened to anyone else? Can you tell me whats wrong? Its a 2001 4.6. I've been to ford but they couldn't find anything wrong. Thanks!

starting and accelator problem
I just had the same problem with my brand new 2002 F150 SC. I also have the 4.6L and encountered the same results. At first, I could not get the throttle to go down after a cold start. After about a couple minute idling up and down the road, the pedals released and has worked fine since. I just assumed that the pedal was frozen somehow but would like to know if it included another problem. Exspecially since I just bought it!!
