Question fe intake mod

i ve always been imports but i recently purchased an old 69 ford f 100 with a 390 ,stock bore with 352 heads that has stainless valves size i dont know as well as port and polish dont know ,it has a mild erson cam duration only dont know that either ,and its currently set up with a edelbrock performer 390 intake manifold with a carter 650 cfm 4v carb it has dual exhaust with stock exhaust manifolds and and 3 inch dumps oh yeah im guessing the compression is about 10.6 to 1

this motor is strong.......but i want more ........so heres the question if YALL can

im looking for a different intake setup i want to keep my carb but i want a tunnel ram dual quad 360 degree intake manifold that will work with my stock distrib. i am having no luck finding any for the fe engines or tunnel rams period i know the cons but i love the gasser look i think offenhauser makes some but i cant find them

on the other hand......

i would like to consider a blower setup 671 871 setup but i dont know if my compression and mild upgrades is enough to select the type of blower i would like to use

theres plenty more i dont understand but at this time these are my two options im wanting to consider ....thankx

basically im lost and dont know what suppliers are out there and really what options im up against or other

Your limited with that FE motor. Pick up a copy of Holley's and Edlebrock's catalogs, they should help. Holley has Wieland blowers, but I don't think they have much of a selection of lower manifolds.

Look, see these two tow hooks? They look like tusks. And what kind of animal has tusks?

there's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I like to think that I walk that line every day of my life.

I like the fogger types, I also like nitrous express' kits better. Either way, on a stock motor I think the max recommend jets are 20hp per cylinder. If you drive correctly with the nitrous you could do 100hp shot. I would definitely recommend a fuel pressure safety and wide open throttle switch, along with an armed and purge switch. NX has nice gen 2 accessory kit that covers most of the extras that keep you from damaging your engine.

Like I said, the recommended shot is 20hp per cylinder. You might get away with more, but you should really learn how drive with nitrous before hand. Check out NX's FAQ page, there is a lot of good information you should know.
