In dash Cup holder replacment options???

Ok, My 99 250SD (prarie tan) is missing the in dash cup holders. I went to stealership and crapped myself. They have a LIST of 216.00 a sell price of 176.00 and my "Good Buddy" price is still 146.00.
I started looking on Flea Bay for it and I see lots of King ranch and other cup holders, I am curious if most of them are universal besides the color.? I know the King Ranch is embossed in the plastic but, For the price difference of nearly 100.00 I would be ok with it. Seems like on flea bay i can get some for 65.00 But mine is selling for 165.00 Any help would be GREAT!
Thanks

One of our sponsors Genos Garage has a dual cupholder arrangement that goes on the front of center arm rest on the 40 20 40 front seats . I think it was like $36.00 or somewhere in that ballpark.

Have you looked at the local bone yards? This not a plug, but I've found lots of parts using car-parts.com Even if they don't list a cup holder in the drop down menu, you can look for a seat that matches your color scheme. If they have a seat, they probably have the cup holder in the dash.

I would talk to another dealer as I have to believe he is looking at the wrong part. I replaced my 99 cupholder with the 02-04 style one and only paid $65 from my local dealer. They gave me no discount. I could have got it from one of our sponsors cehaper, but with shipping it wasn't much cheaper, and I needed it right away.

Actually I just looked and Direct Ford Parts still sells them for around $60.

Edit//Actually I just looked again, and figured out what the problem is. It's because of your prarie tan interior. They only made that interior in 99 and 00, and they stopped making the 99-00 style cupholders because they were worthless. A lot of people (myself included) upgraded to the 02-04 style cupholders because they worked a lot better. Those were only available in parchment (as far as the brown colors go). You should have been able to get one in parchment for $60 and if it didn't match well enough you could paint it. However it sounds like TNT took care of you so don't worry. Although chiefn10 may want to think about doing this.

TNT,
What did you put in its place, a keg tap or what?
(a flip up DVD player would be nice)

I wonder if chiefn10 could take the prairie tan face plate off his busted cup holder and put it on one of the 02-04 cup holders. The guts are interchangable, it's just the color of the face plate that's the problem. Looking at mine, it seems like it wouldn't be hard.
