congrats and thanks to walford and all the rest of the gurus. my brother in law and i (well, mostly my b.i.l.) have been working on my f-1 off and on for a year. ken is a good mechanic but a little young for f-1 and flatmotors (he claimed to be a ch**y man, but i think i'm turning him around). whenever we have a question, i run a search or post a question on fte and answers magically appear. our junkyard flatmotor is tucked into my 49 and runs great. no way that would have happened without our advisors from maine to new mexico. dick r.

I could have posted this on the 67-72 site,or the yblock site , but for some strange reason I think this is the coolest site on FTE. There are some real cool and weird people on this site-LOL and have made this into an addiction for me and I also blame all you for making me addicted to old ford trucks!! SHAME ON YOU!! LOL....I posted earlier that I want to slim down my big truck line and be a driver instead of a restorer, and it might happen.....although I will keep on collecting, only smaller f100/250 and 350 trucks. There is alot of super pros on this site and you know who you are!! I really owe you alot for helping me.........Thanks

Your humility is heartening, Bill. You can be sure that your posts have made me smile and that is always a help. We all enjoy your posts and that you think of the 48-60 as the place to come to celebrate this milestone. You've got a friend in west Texas and I'm sure every other place that is represented here.
congratulations, himmelberg
