jswisc is starting off with a positive reputation.
The heads are different on the efi compared to the carb but the adapter bolts on where you remove your throttle-body. Then you bolt your carb to the adapter. You have to install a non-computer ignition system. I used the vacuum advance distributor from my original motor from an 87' f350. Since this motor went into the 87' f350 I used the engine wiring from the old engine. You will have to fab a bracket for your throttle linkage also. I haven't replaced my injectors. They still sit in the manifold. I had to cut two of them down in order to fit the carb. Very happy with the swap so far.
