Tryin to get my '06 to whistle

Anybody know if you can get a 2006 F350 6.0 to sound like an 03. A friend had an 03 F250 that had a serious turbo whistle...sounded like a Boeing 767. My apologies if this topic is already discussed on here. Dale

The way that I suggest would be to get an 03 turbo and pedestal and swap them out. Pedestal is easy enough 7 bolts to contend with. I had that done, not because of the whistle but that was just a perk.

Man I love it when you hear a loud whistle from a diesel taking off. I agree the louder the better.

Turbo back exhaust. I went 4" then a 5" tip on my '06. Sounded like a jetliner idling. Wish I could get that sound from my 6.4.

The only way to get the same whistle that the 03's have is to swap your turbo for one fron an 03. The 03 turbos have less vanes in them which makes them whistle so loud.

Here is another option if you want more whistle, and it is cheap also!!! LOL
