A guy I work with is selling a 2 door LTD (69 I think) with a running 429. He says it burns a little oil but not much. Is the 429 in it worth anything? He wants $600.00 for the car and won't sell just the engine. Could I buy the car and sell the engine for more?

 

That engine's only worth about $150-200. I've looked at plenty of them, that's the going rate for a rebuildable motor.
