Well this is just.....Peachy!!!!

Did a little woods clearing around here this week and today had to pick up the remains and dump it in the pit behind my shop. Now I've done this many times before and nothing ever happened..........Until now! The area between my shop and the barn fence is wide enough to almost squeeze two trucks in but it's on a little incline. I was on my last load and lost apparently just enough traction to slide into the overhang off the side of my shop, This is the end result after the 2x4 came through the window.

Dang! I hope the window was down... Or was that what the covering on the mirror is for?
If you need some help gathering parts lemme know.

Funny thing about this is it missed the mirror(in Maxwell Smarts voice) "Missed it by That much!" The adjuster actually came out today and looked at it, $1,700.00 in damage.

Edit:
The window was up.

I guess if it weren't for bad luck i'd have none at all. What don't make sense is even though its a little sloped the trailer goes back there with ease so it wasn't like i was goosing it to get it back there.

The adjuster called me last night and i have to call Greenville Toyota monday morning to get it in, Travelers has an office there. He said it should only take three days to fix.........Right i've heard that story before. Hey Rich you know anything about their body shop?

I didn't know Toyota of Greenville had a body shop....

I've only taken (and had friends take) vehicles to D&D Ford and Fairway Body...

Travelers has a claims office there and the adjuster told me the agent there can keep up with how the work progresses(Sounds like a line of BS personally). I'd rather go to Fairway but i hear their slow in the body shop department.

Well Meanie goes in this coming Monday. Greenville Toyota doesn't have a body shop but Lexus does, I guess they're the same dealership. The agent there told me she would have a rental waiting for me when i get there, My luck it will be some little junk-box.

It's amazing what a stick of wood can do.

(Looking at the front (?)what do you call that?)

Formed piece of metal in front of the door....

THAT will be tuff to get right.

You mean the door pillar, No worries they're replacing the whole door.

AH! Funny, I thought the door pillar was at the rear and part of the cab.

You got off lucky - no essential cab tweakage.
