Low ratio gear set (planetary) for C6

I have looked into it as well. I have found it for $199 from Oregon Performance Transmission. If you feel like you need a lower first and second with third staying the same then I would think it is worth it. Surely cheaper than swapping differential gears.
What brand of stall are you running? Is it 12" or is it smaller? Are you happy with it? I am still trying to figure out which brand to go with.

If I am thinking correctly, passing gear is second right? So it would down shift to second which is now 5% lower causing a bit more increase in RPM. It may be to abrupt and it may not. I spoke to the owner of Broaderperformance.com and he said that the wide ratio kit is the most highly spoke of upgrade he sells. He is a very nice guy and was willing to talk with me on the phone for a great deal of time. His kit is $299. I am considering buying his for $100 more than Oregon Performance Trans just because OPTs tech support and customer service sucks.
