Yes, I've seen it in a build thread or two. I'm doing mine, but I'm putting a SD floor pan in it. If you've sat in the rear seat, you know how uncomfortable it is with no recess in the floor pan. You might consider that modification while your at it. A set of king ranch super crew seats would be awesome.

They are from a '97 crew

 

I picked these up at the junkyard. They are from a 2003 Lariat SuperCrew. Except for the tear in the driver's seat the leather is perfect. I found wiring schematics and it appears that all the electronics are contained in the seat. I checked and the control modules are in place. The truck had just came onto the yard. I plan to install the rear first in the next couple weeks. I'll post pics when I'm done.

 

Do you know how much difference is in the SD vs. the F150 seats dimensionally?

 

No, I don't. These F150 seats are less than 4" narrower than my stock bench. My stock bench measures 59" across. The seats I bought measure just over 54" across. When I'm sitting in my stock bench I have a full hands with of extra room next to my leg. I figure with the F150 seat I'll loose 2" of that space. The front of my stock bench is around 13" from rise in the floor at the front. These seats measure about the same from the rise in the F150 floor. Next time I'm at the junkyard I'll measure a SD seat.

 

I just left the junkyard. I measured a 2000 SD with a 40/20/40 bench seat. It is 59" wide.

 

Thanks, I was wondering what the difference was. I have the seats, but I'd had to dig them all out to measure. Hope it all works out for you.

That '68 is solid but $13,500. Makes me think of selling mine. But only for a moment.

 

Man that 71 diesel is badass and also the one on eBay. Maybe in a couple of years. Lol

Well Iam putting my 1979 Ford F250 Crewcab up for sale , you can see pics under my profile, Gullys crewcab, but it has a 400 6000 miles on rebuild 85000 original miles, 4 speed, 4x4, 4" lift, new tires and rims, new battery, new 2.5" dual exhaust, new 40/20/40 seats front and rear, new carpet, new front grill, body is in great shape but I would re-paint it, new dash panels with new modern radio that looks old school, has A/C but needs charged, It would great for someone that wants to work on it but still drive it.

Needs, headliner but i do have the chrome moldings for it and pattern, power steering needs bleed off, it works but not to the greatest. needs Carb kit but Ill probably do that soon.

Drives great and is a head turner
