Not sure you have the capabilities yet - but PM me when you get enough posts. I just threw away a set of stockers and I think Ed might have done the same. We can usually locate parts for you though.

You need 5 lug or 8 lug?

I believe the steelies off of late-model Econoline-250s and 350s are a very close match. The hubcap looks the same except it has a ford oval on it instead or ford script.

When I bought my '350 it came with white 16" steelies w/old-school dog-dish hubcaps mounted, and the stock 16.5" wheels and hubcaps in the bed if good condition.

Any one ever swap a 2wd crewcab body onto a 4wd supercab chassis? I can pick up a good running super 4wd pretty cheap <2k but the body is pretty rough. I see 2wd crews in pretty good rust free condition pretty regularly for under 3k. The wheelbases look like they should work. +5 in in the super. I would go with a flatbed anyway so the additional 5 inches could be worked around. Seems alot easier than a 4wd convertion on a 2wd crew am I missing anything. I did a quick search and didn't see anyone doing this?

Ok so apparently some small minded people dont understand that the truck in this signature is a combination of many sarcasims. Please quit being stupid and study up before you run your mouth about it.

Just a note on cabin swaps. There is a different frame width on 3/4 tons and one tons. The frame rails on the 350's are narrower to allow the use of duals.

Yeah but the frame doesnt narrow until after the rear of the cab. The cab mounts are at the same width. Only difference is the 73-77 higboys. The rear cab mounts on those are different. Both the supercabs and crewcabs have rear cabmounts that are outboard of the frame.

Any chance the rear cab mount are in the same location on a super cab as on a crewcab? I have been assuming that I would have to relocate the mounts.

I havent measured but i would say not. Im pretty sure that from front to rear the mounts are farther apart.
