I drove my crew through Vegas a few months ago! It was night though, and I'm sure no one saw me, so maybe it doesn't count ;-)

I thought I was kind of a loner around here too. I see more Ferarris or Lamborghinis daily then I do old fords (honestly - I do - Newport Beach, CA)

Driving around my neighborhood the other day I saw a 69-72 long bed crew in a guys front yard - so I guess I'm not the only one!

Getting closer with mine, got the 97 cummins doner, just scored a set of Weld super singles for $350, doing the bodywork, about to pull the cab off. Im all jacked up. Going to get some pics tomorrow, dont know if I can post them or not.
P.S. Vegas, thats where I got my Cummins doner.

Hey guys! I have been away from FTE for a while. Just got back and glad to see a Crewcab posting area. Just saying hi and I will be around more often again.

I know someone looking for those crewcab emblems too. Anybody have a spare set laying around?

I've seen the stickers that go over the long ago faded crew cab badges- they look pretty good (sorry, I don't have the link right now)... I wonder if you could get a pair of the easier-to-find "camper special" badges that I think are the same size, and put the crew cab sticker over them to virtually make your own crew badges??

yes you can make some out of the trailer special badges, and the stickers you are talking about are found on eBay. Do a search for "Ford Crew Badge" or something like that.

I was wondering what was the last year the divorced transfer was offered in the 73-79 crew cabs?

I would think that they follow the same as the other trucks, being 77 1/2 as the cut off...yes??? I know that my '77 crew has the divorced transfer as does my '74 crew.

I know that my '74 crew has a d60 w/ drum brakes, that I am going to sell, my '77 crew has a d60 w/ disc and a divorced transfer case amd my '78 f250, donor truck, has a d60, disc brake in it. Maybe the FORD GURU'S will chime in w/ the exact year cut off/start.

Most people have never even seen ONE in person! I have only seen pictures of them, and even then I've only ever seen 2 different ones...
