Rufus is starting off with a positive reputation.
It was "mearly" $4.50 yesterday in Northern Utah. I do save 30-50% by mixing filtered and processed used oil (motor, hydraulic, tranmission fluid, etc.) with diesel. Been doing it a year and have no problems. I made video and a web page about it if anyone is interested on our Archers-Friend.com site. Email if interested.

I wish this thread would die. I'm even paying $3.71 a gallon to drive the commuter car ugilest competition, in spite of another opinion. I know who has the ugliest, and most attrative to the opposite sex of any commuter car owned by any other member of the 7.3 section, the finest bunch of folks on FTE.

The prices are outrageous and are killing my summer plans. and the next 5 years of my life commuting to college and home are going to kill me. Hiring a private jet to get places(college and back) sounds cheaper by the day.

Down the street from the house yesterday was $4.77 a gallon, expect it to hit $5.00 or more in the next week.

Diesel here in canada is 1.36 / liter.

Whats in a gallon, 4 liters? Tha'd be gettin close to 6$/ gallon. I think its a little funny that people are pulling out there old farm trucks with gas v8's because gas is 4cents cheaper...

My 5.7 v8 chev is a lot heavier on fuel than my 7.3, and half the truck.
