$3.49 everywhere. only the little rinky dink stations that don't move much diesel have the price any lower.

Bio D bumped up a bit to 2.99 a gallon. Still almost fifty cents less than most stations selling Dino D. 3.39-3.47 in North Houston.

We must be nearing a threshold. How high can it go before we can't afford to operate anymore?

Sorry Mark, but I believe Bush Jr has a bit to do with the oil prices. Bush Sr at least tapped the reserve and drove the price down the last time we were getting smaked around like this.. And I would think with the way the Economy is dropping to the way side, he would at least do something to lessen the burdon.. my .02

Where do y'all get your information from? From what I've learned he did very poorly in the oil business and got into the ownership of a baseball team. I would really appreciate a link to somewhere that will put it in black and white that the President is making a nickel off of the high diesel fuel prices. It is the refining process for this foolish USLD that is driving the price up. Is it just a coincidence that diesel started getting more expensive after this crap about high sulpher content was the reason for all of the world's global warming problems? Is there not some kind of treaty that Bush has refused to sign that would drive prices even higher?

Yep, make's considering a new rig even more unlikely.

I just read an article that says the Big 3 are considering raising the incentives to get us to by US cars again, to stimulate their failing sales and continued downslide to Toyota and others.

But if we are strapped already due to continued increases in fuel prices and everything else associated with the petroleum industry...how do they expect consumers to consider new car purchases?

These millions some of you refer to, slick willie and shillery could buy and sell the Bush family several times over if they were so inclined to do so. You want to talk about criminal behavior, there has not been even one hint of a scandal with the Bush's. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge Bush fan, he is too soft on Irag, not to mention too soft on immigration, but a huge improvement over the two pansies he faced in both national elections.

At last, Mark and I agree upon something...other than our Powerstrokes.

But, what are we going to do for this next election...scary...scary.

I also had 3 5-gal cans for gas which brought the total to $460.00. I can go a long way with that much fuel. The gas is for the lawnmower, just incase you were wondering. lol
