I'm going to post this here also just in case some of you are not following the other thread on pretty much the same subject. Until we get our own oil we are doomed. But this is not going to happen in my lifetime. Hell we can't even build one more refinery in my lifetime anymore so I don't know what I'm worried about. Now what is typed below is an answer to another post in another thread.
I don't even have to add to this very well thought out and written post. Except to the fact that all of our energy woes are directly the fault of eviormental idiots. The entire country could and should be running on perfectly safe and nearly 100% clean nuclear energy. PERIOD.. I want to puke thinking about the mess these "flower children" types that think the world can live in perfect harmony. Not a chance of that ever happening. The earth will long outlive the good old USA at the rate these liberals are going.

Filled up Tuesday at $3.35 Today at $3.41 Idaho one of the highest priced.
I know a number of long haul truckers hurting big. No increase in rates but they have to absorb the fuel price difference. Some loads going for 2006 prices. Pretty soon something has to change.
3.55 at the interstate junction close to where I work and same near my home. 2 miles from where I work I fouund it for 3.19. I went in and asked was that correct? they said yep. I filled up.
can't remeber when fuel was 3.19 here last did go down to 3.38 about a week ago was 3.59 two days ago, afraid to look now with reg gas being 3.38

I'm doing my part. I filled up last Tuesday at 3.29 which is the most I've paid in 30 years of driving diesel engine vehicles. Since then I've put 23 miles on my truck and that is how it is going to stay for a while. Although today I've got to make a beer run and buy the winning powerball ticket so I can afford to buy more diesel fuel.
