Diesel is still 4.29 a gallon here, its been there for a while, with a low of 4.25 lol. Pretty sad because last year this time was it even 3.25?

Is everyone even aware that right at this moment China is drilling for our oil off of the Florida coast? And there is nothing the dummies in Congress or the assinine Sierra Club can do about it. Kind of ironic, ain't it. The problem will not be solved in my lifetime, but you young men and women better wake up and get rid of these clowns.

How did I miss this? If we don't watch out they'll let the Chinese start drilling in the off limits areas of Alaska too.

I see you do not have your location listed. Who are your representatives in Congress? That's who you have to tell. You kids keep putting these same jerks in year after year and things are not going to change.

He's up in Canada, and hasn't managed to blow himself up yet.

Hey Parkland, where did the "Hyrdrogen enhanced" line in your signature go? I'd find it hard to believe you quite using what you've proven to work.

I took it out, replaced it with what turned out to be too vulgar of a comment, which was removed by admin.

Yes, well it is supposed to be a family friendly forum. You should consider putting the friendly version back in that links to your thread. With the way diesel is going I imagine some folks will finally ignore those of us who tried to over engineer things and go invest in a bucket and a few coat hangers.

I don't really want to get into this much more, but I have to ask. "Who is they"? For all of you that think the President can control oil prices in any way shape or form, you'd better check your facts.

Hey Chris, i was gonna tell you a different time, i was in Texas once. My brother met a girl down there, and i went on a trip with him. We stayed with a man named "Bear" that drove trucks for a ling in austin.

I remember swimming in barton springs, miss that.

Anyways, been taking a break with the hydrogen, the truck warms up for 15 minutes, drives for 20, then off, and it was getting way to annoying taking the water out all the time for short trips.

But listen to this : Running a gasoline engine from waste vegetable oil - you heard correct.

This process is called "gasification", and has been used to run gasoline engines from wood. no joke.

My process, is 30 ft of 1/4 inch tubing coiled inside a 4ft steel chimney pipe. An oil spray burner blows through the chimney, heating the coil tubing red hot.

One end of the coil tubing WVO goes in (vegetable oil), and the other end, 6 ft of "cooling" tube, (it would spontaneously ignite), and into the air intake of a 4-stroke engine.

The WVO gets turned into gas inside the red hot coil, but because theres no oxygen, it doesnt burn. Tube out of the air intake, sprays a white fog, which if lit burns quickly like natural gas or something.

Still experimenting, but it DOES work. I got the lawnmower to start on the second pull. I was amazed.

PS DO NOT try this on a diesel engine. I cant remember why right now, but while it ignites from spark, the diesel engine compression is not enough to ignite it, plus another problem i cant remember...

I saw you post about this in another thread. I'll be following whatever you tinker with next if I can run across it. There's lots of possibilities out there. Too bad you're stuck up in the frozen North where some of your options are limited by temperature. If you lived down here you could run the hydrogen year around and have plenty of warm sunshine to go outside & play with other ways to reduce fuel costs.

Barton springs is nice, but the water is usually cold. (at least to us)

After saying my last comment, I'd better say too that according to an engineer familiar with running engines on gasified substances, THIS IS CALLED "PRODUCERS GAS" AND CAN CAUSE SEVERE CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING.

It might have actually been some other type of poisoning, either way dont go try this and sniff a whole bunch of fumes.
