There was a couple groups of truck drivers here in PA that parked their trucks for the day. When asked by reports when does it come to a point where diesel is just too much..... the replied, "It is right now" There was several truck drivers that were interviewed and the majority say they are done driving.. the money is just not there with the rising fuel costs.
The fuel analysts also mentioned that gas has a potential to rise to $4.50 a gallon mid summer. In this case, diesel could be hoovering around $6.00 a gallon,, cripling the nation.
I personally can't see diesel rising this high come mid summer, but I never seen diesel rising to $4.39 locally either.

The tree huggers and bunny humpers are the root of our problems here. Right this moment the high temperture today in Charlotte was 19 degree's colder than the average ever since they have been keeping records. Why are all of these global warming goofballs been so quiet over this what has been the coldest and still is the coldest winter in 120 years?

When I bought my truck 7-8 months ago, diesel was at 2.89. From the moment I bought the truck, I clearly remember diesel going up 10 cents it seemed every 2 weeks. If I knew diesel was going to be this high 7 months ago, I wouldn't of bought this truck..sadly
Mark, global warming doesn't mean warmer temps. In fact, it's moreless the drastic changes in the global temps from one extreme to the other as well as extreme weather patterns, etc. The global warming originally got its name from the rising temps at the poles. Whatever the case, these tree huggers need a reality check and smacked over the head. I say open the oil refineries so we become LESS dependent on foreign oil.....crushing them and mean while boosting our ecomony. It only makes sense...!!
The tree huggers and bunny humpers are the root of our problems here.
I'm glad you keep repeating it, cuz people need to know/remember. Apparently the USA is the entire source of global warming, cuz no one else seems to give a shiznit. At least Al Gore says so... Gas & Diesel are so much cheaper in Mexico and it freaks me out cuz they were alwas 2x what it was here. Now it's the other way around.
Every other country hates the USA but who do they come looking to for answers? The liberals and bunny humpers (was that redundant?) need to be ignored for a while so we can get back on track.
The title of this thread is "See what Diesel did today" and unfortunately, the answer still is, "it made me cry" filling up the tank.

The reality is we have closed drilling for oil in our most abundant areas. I see that China is now working with Cuba to drill 30 miles off our coast.
I look forward to the day when we have another conservative like Ronald Reagan elected to office. I love nature like any other, but dang, when the economy is ailing due to fuel prices, I say open up Anwar...

Just a thought, why can the GOV lower the taxes on the fuel? That would help short term?
They could if they were so inclined. But contrary to popular belief the President has no control over it. It has to start in the House of Representatives. They are spoon fed by the lobbyist's from their states that want lots of money for hwy construction, etc. etc. I do not know if an Executive order could do anything or not as a temporary fix until we can get rid of the real problem such as the Sierra Club and other goofball nature nazis that are blocking us from reaching our own bountiful resources, and refineries and the real biggie, nuclear power which would take a lot of pressure of off our use of fossil fuels.

Damnit, the more I think about it the madder I get!! I am sick and tired of sitting here cold because I can't afford heat, can't afford to drive my truck anywhere and clowns like Al Gore live in 20,000 square foot mansions and pay $15,000.00 a month in utility bills for his own comfort, and has the balls to tell us we have to cut back. This entire country should have been on nuclear electric 40 years ago. This China deal about slant drilling to steal our oil is no joke and it's going to happen and everyone just sits on their 'effin thumbs playing switch. It ain't funny!!
