I can't stand it either, but I'm just one old and tired vote. I do my best to make a change but I damn sure can't do it by myself.

But than the Liberal powers in Congress would give it to the Arabs because that would be the American way of doing it!!

The Sierra Club and their lobbiest's are the worse thing that has ever happened to America. There will be a time in the next 100 years when it will finally dawn on the survivors that the wrong side won the civil war. I am not a southerner. I was born and raised in California but I was smart enough to get the hell out of there.

When my wife's sister retired she and her husband bailed out of California
and and moved to Iowa to get away from the high taxes and the liberal
laws out there.

Good for them, that's something else that will happen in the next 100 years, all California will have left is welfare dependent people and no one that is paying the tax that is required to support their drug habit's, etc. etc.

Back on topic, diesel did go down 3/10 nationally overnight. That's 2 days in a row it has fallen a little bit.

Always fast to go up and slow to drop. Its been constant at 4.299 here for the past two weeks. I really hope this is the peak. I did the math and my mpg comes out to 13, which means I spend $1 for every 3 miles I drive. It used to average around 4.5 to 5 miles per dollar.

It costs me 130$ to fill up each time. Where I'm at diesel is already at $4.20 a gallon...

I polished up the hog and have been riding her to work for the last few days. Two days of riding the motorcycle to work cuts down considerably on diesel usage.

I am doing me part to cut usage. That is the only way the price will come down.

Maybe we're all cutting back a little as it came down another 2/10 overnight. Goes up in nickels and dimes and falls less than a penny at a time. Go figure.

You're right. Funny how that works. If the price per barrel jumps three or four dollars the price at the pump jumps immediatly. If the price per barrel drops three or four dollars the price at the pump stays the same.

We are getting hosed.
