Don't forget, Al Gore was making the suggestion that fuel prices should go as high as $5-$6 a gallon so people will be forced to purchase more economical vehicles. That's another reason politicians could care less about the sky rocketing prices, they want to be able to tell us what we should drive.
I've got to wonder how many members here are under the impression the "big Oil" is selling oil at $100.00 plus a barrel? That's what they are paying for it on the world market, unless they happen to already own it such as in Alaska. Then of course they are selling that to other countries for whatever the world price happens to be that day. Which is pretty much controlled by the big money speculators on Wall Street. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. The only reason big oil is making so much money is because the demand for a much needed product is so much bigger today than it was even just 10 years ago.

This clown is a major PITA!!! I would like to have for an income just what he spends to heat and cool one of his houses while he cries global warming. Which is a joke all in itself.

I don't know about you, but if Al Gore was shot tomorrow I don't think anyone would have much of a problem with it. I'd be jumping up and down. He's such a hypocrite. He's preaching about how we should drive less and fly less and all that nonsense while he's got limos and private jets.

I would be dancing in the street's, even at my age. Much the same way the Arab's were dancing on the afternoon of Sept. 11, 2001.

Exactly. and they give that clown a nobel peace prize. shows what that award is worth. They give it to a hypocrite who is crying about something science has already proven false.

This thread is drifting badly and I don't mind at all. But it is a real coin toss who was a bigger waste of the prize, Gore, or Carter.

it seams like diesel is going up daily. I went by the same station again today. Yesterday it was $3.51, today $3.52. I am going to freak if it's $3.53 tomorrow.

I remember whatching that Al Gore bought Carbon credits to use all the power he wants for his Big House! I think that all the pain in the A#*#"* should be driven out of the country Like our Job's, and told to stay out. What I would like to know why these people running for President are spending Millions for a job that pays some thing like 400,000 per year. I also think we need to change the title of President of the United States to the President of the Socialistic Republic of America!!!! It seems to be going that direction or is that way already.
By the way price of fuel still 3.69 a gal!!!!! here in Massillon

3.73 they want for it here now There is still one station i try to get to that sells #2 500ppm in sarasota for around 3.50 right now. My question is do you guys think it will continue to go up in the next few years with the onset of mercedes new "blue" diesel and other manufacturers adding more diesel options in there lineup?

Carter, that would be my vote.
On edit, Carter was a bigger waste of vote as president, Gore never got the nod, Gore proves the notion that if you tell a lie long enough, loud enough and often enough, it becomes true and you get an award.
