Visteon is ford's main parts arm. The intercooler, AC System, radio, starter, alternator, and more are made by them.

The claim had to do with a radio/audio problem.

Yea, there was a couple other entries but they were not drivetrain or engine related...It's a beautiful truck.....Black Lariat crew-cab with a 6" fabtech radius arm lift, 22" rims with 37 inch Toyo MTs...also has a IN-DASH DVD and a banks six-gun with PDA....

I am still a little weary of the thing running a banks six-gun for 15-20K miles......But if there hasn't been any problems yet????

I may make an offer, going to try and drive it for a couple days before I make a decision though!

Thanks for the replies guys.......

Different strokes for different folks....

This is my first diesel so all I've been used to were my gassers. When I made the step up to a stock 6.0, I was amazed...actually still am! It has forever more power than any of my gassers ever had. I'm pretty inclined to leave my motor stock.

I understand there will be others with different views...I just don't NEED any more than what the trucks giving me now. It might be different if I wasn't 53 but that isn't gonna change!

Good Luck with this one!

Joe
