tcesni is new and has a neutral reputation at this point.
Probably. The key is whether a 245 tire will fit on a 7" width wheel. I used to have 245 tires on my 1988 Mustang and I think it had 7" wheels. A tire dealer can tell you for certain. The 245 tire will be a bit taller than your 235 tire (29.50 inches versus 28.95 inches). This will affect you speedometer and odometer by a small amount.

Ive run 255/70 x 15's on 7 inch wheels on at least 3 or 4 trucks or vans I've had over the years--hundreds of thousands of miles (they were a traditional substitute for 235/75's). The speedo will under-read by a couple percent, and the gas mileage will *seem* a bit worse if you use the odo readings, but in reality, the slightly longer gearing may actually help mileage (but offsetting in the other direction is the tread width). The slightly greater width may have a bit more lateral movement (side to side "slop") in terms of handling, so not good for autocrossing.

Hell, the tires are only gonna be 10 mm wider than what you have.
