another grinding 4x4

First let me say thanks to everyone for all the info in the previous posts about this problem. I just bought this 06 supercrew 4x4 with 29k miles two weeks ago and its having the auto hub problem. Its headed to the shop this morning. I'm anxious to hear the dealers reasons and their fix. After reading other posts on this I feel better armed to deal with their "creative" answers and try to push for them to check the condition of both iwe's. Thanks again and I'll keep yall posted on the outcome.

Its 7 degrees here this morning, its the first very cold day since I had my seals behind the hubs changed (replaced both IWE's and solenoid first and still would grind) and finally no grinding noise!

Got it back this afternoon. Service man said it was the solenoid and that no other damage was found. I have driven it most of the rest of the day with no problems. We'll see what happens in the am.
