Question Prestige APS785 Remote Start found in truck?

Hi Folks,

While installing the gauges, I stumbled across a mess of wires under the dash connected to a small black box. Turns out this black box is a Prestige APS785 Remote start system. Unfortuntely the remote(s) did not follow the truck as it went from one owner to the next. Anyone know if it is possible to get a replacement remote? Been doing some googling, but thought I would post here as well.

Also the box has a wire hanging off of it with a small micro switch button. Anyone know what the small button does?

Some of what I found says this model of remote start has been disontinued.

Thanks
Ray

check E-bay there`s alot of prestige replacement remotes on there. as far as the switch, if it has alarm too it`s probably A overide if you lose your remote while the system is armed youd put the key in the on position & press the button to manually overide the alarm you also use them to do programming sometimes.
