Exclamation upfitter switches

I am putting a strobe kit in my truck (06 f250 5.4l) and i want to use my upfitter switches. The kit say use a switch that will deliver 15 amps. now the switches are 10amp and 30 amps. Is there a way to change the amps? Can you change the fuses on them... thanks

Have the switch control a relay that way you don't have much amperage pulling at
the switches and you can add more lights to that circuit if the relay you use can
handle the load that is.http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/index...TS&Category=95
They got the bosch type relays all the way up to 80 amp if you needed it or that 300
amp relay solenoid if you wanted to overbuild it for who knows what!!

The upfitter switches already have relays. It's ok to use a circuit larger than you need for your circuit. I would use one of the 30 amp circuits for your 15 amp load. If you are really worried about it, you could find the 30 amp fuse for the aux circuit you are using, and take it out and put a 15 amp fuse in it's place. But I think it would be unnecessary.

I have an 06 F-150. Do they make the upfitter switches for this truck? I still have the ones out of my 07 F-350. Is there a way to use the ones from the Super Duty in the F-150.

I am sure you could hand wire them in place. If you want this to be plug and play, then you might have to go to the dealer and get a kit or something. They usually do not offer this option on a f150, since the upfitter switches are used for added equipment that is usually added on the f250's and up.
